When I was back in Minneapolis working a producing job, I introduced my mom to some of my favorite ambient records. We both have insomnia, but some records put me out like warm milk does for some people (milk just makes me crazy). I think I showed her Brian Eno's "Music For Airports," William Basinski's "Disintegration Loops," some stuff by Vangelis, and Julianna Barwick's "Magic Place." Eventually, I ran out of records to give her, so I just made her one. This was her mother's day present.

I did everything on Logic. Pat and Jamie released it. Dorey helped me with the album art.
